Between past and future...! (Reblogging)

If there is something that Hannah Arendt said that made me love her was the simple thing about the way we live: we are in this place between past and future, which is already gone and yet to happen.
And this is where I find myself these days, trying to figure out what to do with my life. Even though I have found a great job, I’m not completely happy, there is something missing and I do know what it is, but there are so many obstacles in the way, that I just have to feel stuck where I am right now.
I must say that everything is not so bad, there are advantages of being where I am, but I would feel happier somewhere else. In the meantime I keep trying to teach how to think to those who would rather die than think! There is a little bit of pleasure in trying to achieve impossible tasks.
Anyway, there’s much to be done and so little time! Between past and future, already gone and yet to happen.
Soon, I’ll be back to post all the things I enjoy, and of course, there is no interest whatsoever!
PS: After reading this and knowing that I am where I wanted to be back then, I realized that once you get older you prefer settling down; I'm happy to be here, but missing home so much!
